Terms and Conditions Othello at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre

Competition Rules

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Wireless Group PLC ("Wireless Group PLC") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.signal1.co.uk apply to the Staffordshire Gatehouse Othello Radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 20th June 2016 to Friday 24th June 2016 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is Signal 2.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1) Details of the Competition – Signal 2

1.1 To enter the competition an entrant must

a) The entrant must call 01782 861170.  Lines will open when the presenter announces.  There will be 1 chance to win each day on the Signal 2 breakfast show between 6am and 10pm.  Call will be charged at a standard network rate.  Calls from a mobile could vary.

1.2 On air – callers must be on line 3.  The presenter will ask the listener to answer, correctly, which Shakespearian play the quote of today is from.

1.3 Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

1.4 Entrants must live within the transmission area of Signal 1


2) Prize

a) On air – Prize of 2 Adult tickets to watch Othello at Stafford Castle per competition execution for use on 27th, 28th, 29th, 5th, 6th and 7th July 2016 at 8pm. 

2.1 Winners’ names and contact details to be taken by Signal Radio and will be passed onto the Stafford gatehouse for reference when tickets are collected.

2.2 Entry is at management discretion and management reserve the right to refuse entry. Tickets are redeemable for Othello on 27th, 28th, 29th, 5th, 6th and 7th July 2016 at 8pm only and will not be valid should there be adverse weather restrictions or once the event has ceased.  Replacement tickets are at the discretion of Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.

2.3 No change given, no cash alternative.


2.4 Stafford festival Shakespeare performs in the open air. They provide reserved seating in the covered grandstand. They recommend warm clothing, even on a sunny evening.

2.5 All tickets are non-transferrable

2.6 Latecomer may not be admitter until a suitable point in the performance.

2.7 Photography and any other recording of the show are not permitted during the performance.

2.8 The venue is accessible to the disabled and wheelchair users. You are recommended to contact the venue in advance to ensure you visit is as comfortable as possible.
