Villains join race for Jones

Aston Villa appear to have entered the race to sign Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones.

Paul Lambert's men are struggling at the wrong end of the table and with wantaway striker Darren Bent still not getting a look in at Villa Park, it is thought that a swap deal involving Bent could be on the cards.

Swansea's reported interest in the Trinidadian still remains strong after forward Danny Graham asked to leave The Liberty Stadium just a few days ago.

Signal sources believe that if Sunderland complete their pursue of Swans striker Danny Graham, Swansea boss Michael Laudrup will turn his attention to Trinidad & Tobago star Kenwyne Jones to fill the gap left by Graham.
