Witness appeal following flat burglary in Crewe

Detectives investigating a burglary at a flat in Crewe are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday 28 December a first floor flat was broken into on West Street.

No-one was in the flat at the time and a quantity of cash was stolen.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone with any information or CCTV or dashcam footage that may aid their investigation to get in touch.

Detective Constable Ruth Thomas said: “Burglary is a serious crime and we are determined to catch whoever was responsible and make them face the consequences of their actions.

“As part of our investigation we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around that time and witnessed anything suspicious.

“We also want to hear from anyone who believes they may know who carried out the burglary or have CCTV or dashcam footage of them.”
