Police in part of the Moorlands have again been given extra powers to clamp down on anti-social behaviour.
It relates to Werrington, with officers saying that incidents have been causing 'distress' to local residents.
Chief Inspector for the Moorlands, Mark Thorley, has tweeted: "Disappointed to see that after some headway being made recently a local house party last night which spilt over led to reports of ASB.
"My team will be in the area this weekend taking positive action."
The Section 34 Order will be in effect over the weekend, making it an offence to:
- Fail to comply with a direction from PCs/PCSOs to disperse from the area,
- Fail to surrender items likely to cause antisocial behaviour when asked by PCs/PCSOs,
- Return within a specified period after directed to disperse from the area.
Officers say they will be taking action and have a zero-tolerance approach.
