Teenagers left shaken after burglary in Stafford

Police are urging residents to be vigilant and ensure their homes are secure following an incident at a home on Brunswick Terrace.

Two men forced entry into the property between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Friday 14 December.

After what has been described as an untidy search, they stole a small white safe, cash and mobile phone, along with personal items including a bus pass and library card.

Both men wore face coverings and one of them carried a weapon.

Two teenagers were inside of the address at the time, and although unharmed they were understandably left shaken by the incident.

Any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage in the local area is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 745 of 14 December.

Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
