Taxi driver suffers head injury in Newcastle assault

Staffordshire Police are investigating reports of an assault earlier this month.

The incident took place on the forecourt of Morrison’s petrol station on Brook Lane at around 8.40pm on Saturday 10th November.

The taxi driver, a 43-year-old man, was assaulted in his vehicle by three men and suffered a head injury.

The offenders are described as white men, two of whom are believed to be in their mid-twenties; and another who is thought to be older. One of the men had a full beard.

Enquiries are on-going and anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 747 of 10
