Police warning following spate of thefts from vehicles in Middlewich

Police are investigating incidents involving equipment being stolen from trade vehicles in the Middlewich area.

Officers are aware of five reports, which have taken place from 10pm onwards between Wednesday, 5 July and Wednesday, 12 July on Webbs Lane, King Street, Dexter Way, Coriander Close and Warmingham Lane.

PC Nicholas Jackson, of Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: “We are determined to catch those who are committing these crimes but we need the public’s help.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two men in a silver car acting suspiciously in the Middlewich area.

“I also want to remind traders to remove any valuables inside the vehicle and store them somewhere more secure while also ensuring their vehicles are securely locked.”
