Police release CCTV image of man they want to speak to over Stoke-on-Trent robbery

CCTV footage of the man police want to speak to in connection with the robbery at Tingles in Fenton

Staffordshire Police has released an image of a man they want to talk to in connection with a robbery at a health club in Stoke-on-Trent.

The incident took place at around 6.30 pm on Monday 8 April when a man entered Tingles Health and Relaxation on Burnham St, Fenton and snatched a quantity of money from a receptionist. 

During the struggle the receptionist was slightly injured. The man ran off across King Street and towards Oldfield Street. 

The suspect is described as Asian, aged late thirties to early forties, 5ft 7 inches tall and of medium build. He was clean shaven with moles on the right side of his face. He wore a blue waist length raincoat.

Investigating officer DC David Morgan said: "We'd really like to speak to anyone who can help us identify this man and we're urging people to come forward with information.

"We would particularly like to speak to a woman who may have witnessed the offender making off."
