Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Stoke-on-Trent have released a photo of a potential witness they want to speak to.
Police were called at around 2.40am on Friday 23 August to reports of a man – later named as 26-year-old Anas Chergat – suffering stab injuries in Josiah Wedgwood Street, Etruria.
Emergency services attended the incident but he died at the scene.

Officers have released an image of a woman they believe may have been in the area at the time who could help provide further information.
The woman, who is believed to have been wearing running leggings at the time, is not being treated as a suspect.
It is believed she was in the area of Josiah Wedgwood Street and Clough Street on the evening of the 22 August.
Detective Inspector Alan Lyford, from the force’s Major Investigation Department said: “This woman is not being treated as a suspect but we believe she may have information that could help us with our investigation.
"We would urge her or anyone who can identify her to come forward and speak to us on 101.”
Two men remain in custody, after being arrested on Tuesday (27 August) on suspicion of murder.
