Man left with facial injuries following attack in toilets

A man has suffered facial injuries after being attacked in the toilets of a venue in a Staffordshire village.

Police say at around 11.40pm on Saturday (29 December), a 59-year-old man was assaulted in the toilets of Ipstones Memorial Hall on Church Lane.

The offender is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately 5ft 7in tall, of stocky build, and with short light-coloured hair. He was wearing a shirt and trousers.  

Officers from Moorlands Neighbourhood Policing Team are now appealing for witnesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call them on 101 quoting incident 12 of 30 December. Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
