Man knocked to ground in Stoke-on-Trent robbery

Police say a elderly man was pushed to the ground after being approached by a male at his Trent Vale home, before robbing him.

Officers say it happened around 1.30pm on Monday (13 May).

The offender stole the man's watch, his mobile phone, bank cards and the keys to a white Range Rover car in which he then drove off.

The man was not seriously injured but was very shaken by the attack. 

The offender's face was covered by a scarf and hat and is described as being black, in his thirties and wearing dark clothing. 

Anyone with any information is asked to ring Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 366 of 13 May.
