Man in hospital after being stabbed in Potteries pub

A man has been stabbed in a pub in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to the New Penny on Goldenhill Road in Fenton in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 25 July). 

A 38-year-old man was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he is receiving treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. 

Officers are interested to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has CCTV footage.
