
Police have made an arrest, after a man was slashed across the face with a knife in Stoke-on-Trent.
He was taken to hospital following the incident near Steelite on Longport Road at around 3.55pm on Tuesday (30 July).
A 35-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH yesterday (1 August). He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "An investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 478 of 30 July.
