Part of the M6 in Staffordshire has been closed, as West Midlands Ambulance Service say they are treating a man following what they say was a fall from height.
An ambulance, paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to the incident at 2:47pm this afternoon (30 July).
The service say one man had suffered serious injuries.
Both sides of the M6 were closed for a short time following the incident on the southbound carriageway between junctions 14 and 13.
Now two lanes are closed, causing delays of up to 90 minutes, with traffic queuing for around seven miles
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said they were currently responding to a serious road traffic collision, that a road closure is in place, and motorists are asked to find an alternative route if possible.
