Lottery funding boost for CAB

The Citizens Advice Bureau in Stoke-on-Trent has secured nearly half a million pounds lottery funding to develop and expand a financial advice service.

They are getting £470,240.00 to continue to develop the Potteries Money Wise project which started five years ago.

Services including advice on crisis debt, access to crisis payments and services such as foodbanks, energy advice services, and a wide range of social credit and ethical affordable financial products will be provided.

The CAB say they can deal with around a thousand people a year over the next three years.
