Firefighters from Crewe were called to a vehicle fire at an address in the early hours of this morning.
The incident took place at a house in Mount Pleasant.
Firemen arrived to find a Range Rover on fire on the driveway.
They used breathing apparatus and two hose reel to put out the fire, and a home safety assessment was carried out with the occupiers.
Crews then remained for some time to dampen down the engine compartment of the vehicle.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue have reported that they believe the blaze to have been a deliberate ignition.
