CCTV released by officers investigating Hanley assault

Police are appealing for help to identify a man they want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in Hanley.

Detectives are investigating after a 22-year-old man was assaulted outside the Boston Brothers Bar on Sunday 30 September at 4:20am.

As a result of the incident, the victim had a broken arm in three places which required surgery.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "The suspect is described as a white man with a stocky build, balding head and a beard.

"If you can help us identify the man pictured, if you witnessed the incident or have information about it, please contact the officer in the case on dawn.moody@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk quoting incident number 433 of 30 September."
