CCTV released by officers investigating Crewe bike thefts

Police investigating a string of bike thefts at Crewe railway station have released CCTV images of a man they are looking to speak to.

The first theft happened between 6.40am and 4.45pm on 29 October.

The second occurred between 1.55pm and 11.40pm on 30 October.

The third theft happened at around 6.24am on 31 October.

In all three cases a man is seen by the bike racks leaning over the bikes before removing them.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said "If you know who he is, contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 1800080232. Or you can ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
