Vale sign striker

Mark Cullen has become the latest arrival at Port Vale.

The 27-year-old has agreed to join the club on a one-year deal, following the conclusion of his contract at Blackpool.

He made more than a hundred appearances for the Tangerines, scoring 26 goals - but spent part of last season on loan at Carlisle.

Cullen came through Hull City's youth system, making a handful of appearances for the Tigers in the top flight, scoring one Premier League goal.

He's also played for the likes of Luton Town and Bradford City.

With Richie Bennett also making the switch to the Potteries last week, he has become the second striker to join the Valiants this summer.
