Stoke's opponents on Saturday sack manager

Stoke City's opponents on Saturday will have a new manager in charge.

Middlesbrough have sacked Jonathan Woodgate.

The club are currently 21st in the Championship and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

Boro have won just one of their last 12 league games.

40-year-old Woodgate spent a season at Stoke having joined the club in 2011.

He made 21 appearances during his year with the Potters.

He has been replaced at the Riverside Stadium by Neil Warnock.

Stoke go into Saturday's game in 18th place, two points above Boro.
