Another big crowd is expected at Uttoxeter racecourse on Saturday for a themed Staffordshire Day.
The big race of the day is the Staffordshire Plate which is due off at 4 o'clock.
15 runners are set to go to post for the steeplechase run over 3 miles and 2 furlongs with £35,000 prize money on offer for the third running of the race.
The Staffordshire Plate made by Moorland Pottery will be handed over by John Plant from the company to the winner.
The meeting at the East Staffordshire also heralds the start of the new jump racing calendar for 2019/20.
Last year's champion jump jockey Richard Johnson has six rides on the day.
Trainer and jockey Dan and Harry Skelton, who will be presented with a trophy for the most number of winners at the course last year, have six runners.
