Racing to return at Uttoxeter in July

Jumps racing will return to Uttoxeter racecourse next month.

They have been granted three meetings in July and three in August by the British Horseracing Authority.

All six meetings will be behind closed doors with the first taking place on Monday 6th July.

There will be eight races with a maximum of 12 runners per-race.

Uttoxeter last staged a meeting on Saturday 14th March which was Midlands Grand National Day.

Strict measures are currently being put in place at the East Staffordshire Course, including a new weighing room which is being built in the Premier Bar.
