Crewe Alexandra are top of the table after a 4-2 win at Carlisle United.
Manager Dave Artell made four changes going into the game.
Dave Richards, Perry Ng, Paul Green and Daniel Powell came into the starting line-up replacing Will Jaaskelainen, Olly Lancashire, James Jones and Owen Dale.
Crewe were ahead inside 7 minutes through Nicky Hunt.
Daniel Powell then scored his first goal for the club on 27 minutes.
Then, two goals either side of the hour mark from Hallam Hope and Chris Elliott brought the home side back on level terms.
Chris Porter restored Crewe's lead on 78 minutes before an own goal from Gethin Jones five minutes from time sealed victory for the Alex.
Speaking after the game to the club's official website boss Dave Artell said: "By and large, we made some mistakes, but it was a pleasing day. We are disappointed with the first 20 minutes of the second half, but for 70 minutes we were terrific.
"When Hunty was a kid he was a striker, so you’d be surprised how effective he is in front of goal in training.
"In terms of Daniel [Powell] we have been telling him all week to be selfish when he gets into position. He has really good techniques and he hit it sweet and true. That’s what we want from him and I thought he was good.
"We’re top of the league, but there’s more, there’s always more."
Dave Artell's side are back in action on Saturday when they entertain Swindon Town.
