Artell - "We were outfought and outbattled"

Crewe boss Dave Artell says his team weren't good enough, after they were beaten 2-1 at home by bottom of the table Newport County.

Callum Cooke had put the Alex in front midway through the first half.

Dan Butler equalised just after half time and Joss Labadie fired home the winner in the 89th minute.

The result leaves the Railwaymen in 21st place in the table, seven points above the relegation zone.

Crewe are back in action on Tuesday night when they make the long trek to Crawley.
