Signal 1 and Signal 2 Events Executive

All the leftover buffet food you could ever eat!

UTV Media (GB) is one of the largest radio groups in the UK, with market leading local stations in England and Wales. We also own the national station talkSPORT and UK's leading sports magazine, Sport, as well as being a leading operator of DAB digital radio multiplexes throughout Great Britain.

Right now we are recruiting for a part time (22 hours) Events Executive to work across our radio stations, Signal 1 and Signal 2.

The type of person we want would have started events management early in their life!

Maybe you organised a tea party for kittens when you were a toddler, or a birthday party for your favourite action figures, complete with a giant plasticine chocolate cake!

Then you moved on to charity events in school or college, raising money to buy super hero capes for monkeys, and so on, and so on.

Let’s face it, your whole life has been one big event, and now we want you to plan, sell, organise and deliver events for two of the biggest radio stations across Staffordshire and Cheshire.

These events will range from Bridal Fayres, Recruitment Events, Signal Listener Parties, Mother and Baby Shows, Voucher Promotions with restaurants, Motor Events and more, but probably no kitten tea parties….sorry.

It’s an exciting, busy and rewarding job, working in one of the most dynamic media industries around, and best of all you get to eat any leftover buffet food when the events are over. How good is that?

Based in Stoke, the successful candidate will also be rewarded with a competitive salary and attractive bonus structure.

Send a covering letter stating how your experience meets our requirements, a copy of your CV and details of your current salary and salary expectations to recruit@utvmediajobs.co.uk

Closing date for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 13th November 2015

UTV Media (GB) is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
